"Nothing that can't wait," Elle says, hand resting briefly on Mindy's arm. "If I didn't take a break from my schoolwork now and then, I would completely lose my mind. Time away from the books is healthy and vital." She worked at it like crazy when she first buckled down, Emmett at her side, but she was catching up then. Now she's at the head of the class, and she knows preserving her mental health is hugely important to that. And spending time with loved ones is definitely part of that.
